Final Talk
Now let me do a little recap of what we've been working on these past few weeks! Behavioral psychology is the study of how human behavior is influenced by environmental and situational factors as well as cognitive processes. The field of behavioral psychology is very broad and includes topics such as conditioned reflexes, motivation, emotions, and memory. One of the interesting aspects of behavioral psychology that we can see from the two experiments we have conducted is its focus on observable behavior rather than subjective experience. This means that researchers in the field often conduct experiments and collect data to better understand how people behave in different situations. Our second experiment sheds light on a popular concept in behavioral psychology, classical conditioning, which was first discovered by Ivan Pavlov in the early 20th century.
